About Me

Cayden Chen
As a high school student, I feel incredibly fortunate to have a deep passion for aviation, aerospace, law, and the humanities. There's always been something truly magical to me about the art of flying, and I find it fascinating to explore the engineering principles that make it possible. Additionally, the dynamics and artistry in law and the humanities have made them some of my favorite areas of study.

What sets me apart is my determination and love for learning. I never give up when faced with impediments; instead, I see them as opportunities to grow. I am a fast learner, always eager to learn new subjects and absorb information. This drives me to seek out new sources of knowledge, blending my passion for art, history, law, and culture with the deeply technical aspects of engineering and aviation. Doing so gives me a multifaceted understanding of the world's interconnectedness.

Beyond my academic pursuits, I have achieved the top rank in Lincoln Douglas debate in Oregon. Engaging in debates has sharpened my critical thinking skills and ability to articulate complex ideas effectively. Similarly, I find immense joy in literature. Exploring the depths of literature further broadens my perspectives. It inspires me to become a compassionate and capable leader who can help others.

I aspire to contribute to the fields that ignite my curiosity—such as aerospace, aviation, public policy, and law—to improve the world. By combining my passions, skills, and dedication to learning, I hope to become a leader who can bridge the gap between technical expertise and compassionate understanding.
